Ok, so we don’t always get it right!
And what started off as a Plan Ride through to Aspendale Gardens ended up being a Trek through the Carrum Trail instead.
And boy, what a Interesting Journey that was….
It basically started off as a warm but cloudy day that had the likes of a Mountain Bike that had a faulty rear Derailleur that needed to be removed to be functional, however, this was done a few days prior to today’s actual ride.

Continuing on, all the Bikes were out and soon ready to be loaded into the Vehicle.
After loading them in, it was time to go and meet up with the rest of the Crew.
Meeting up with the others, we soon pulled into a local Car Wash to have our Bikes all washed up.
After the wash, we were on our way to the Trail. However, although we were looking into Aspendale, we made a switch to something more local such as Carrum.
Heading along the trail, we needed some Music in our midst so on came the Charge 5 Speaker.
After that, it was time to enjoy the Trails, starting off by passing some people playing Cricket.
Next up, was the Amazing Front Wheel. :P
Ok, that aside, it was time to check in on how the Single Speed Mountain Bike was holding up.
Actually, considering it was just a patch up job for the sake of doing a Bike Ride, it seemed to be holding up quite well.
Peddling on….
Soon to enter a slight change of Terrain.
As well as pass a Golf Coarse.
While waiting for the Pedestrian Crossing to turn Green, time to grab some RNDM-BMX Style Contents.
And soon to be on the move again.
Followed by passing a Nursery.
And a Community Center in Chelsea Heights.
As well as joining back with the rest of the Crew as I had strayed a little.
And soon to discover and be lead into a little secret hideaway one of the Crew had found some other time.
Whao! Sure is different inside.

With of coarse the Legendary Blue Bike.
And other BMX Bike too.
A secret little Paradise.
Both together now.
Making our way towards the Exit.
Then an Issue arose while making our way out, one of the Crew said “A little help please” and although it was not recorded or even photographed, the rear Wheel from the Mountain Bike popped off.
None the less, after a little stuffing around, it was soon to be placed back on and we were back to it again.
Argh, the Music is disrupted! :(
After that little saga, time to get back to it, this time with Music!
Feeling like a couple of overgrown Teens at this moment.
Finally, the Official Carrum Trail Lake.

Moving forward….
Now approaching a rough part of the Carrum Trail.
Including a Water Sports Part.
As we got back to peddling, everything seemed to be going well until a very agitated voice yelled out to us from a distance.
When pulling over to approach and see what the fuss was about, one of the Crew was pretty frustrated by the following occurrence.
A Flat. Was this thanks to the ground being a little too rough perhaps?
Although we can’t tell for sure, he described the event as him riding one moment before some sort of pop type noise happened, followed by him falling to the ground and yelling out in frustration.
The worst part about it all was the fact that we were miles away from any sort of help, so we basically had to walk quite a distance to get back off the rough ground until we hit the main Bike Trail again.
And in the distance ahead was the main Bike Trail.
When we finally hit the Trail, we decided on having me ride back to the Car while the other two would plod along until I came to pick them and the Bikes up.
So off I went with full pedals swinging….
Folowed by picking up the Crew and heading out to a Shopping Strip for some little nick nacks.
Before finally having some infamous Pizza with that beautiful wood-fired style crust. Hmmmmmmm, Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm.
