Ok….. So it may be more or less of a new Mountain Bike Park to be exact, but being that my BMX comes out to all sorts of different locations, this place was no exception!!
Even though the Sun was out, the air had a crisp cool tinge to it that made the place feel a little chill.
None the less, it was time to grab the MX’er and see what it could do.
The first thing you will notice about this Park is the fact that it has a little BMX type Beginner coarse in the BBQ/ Toilet area for either a quick warm-up or something for the kids to play with as Dad Shreds down the Mountain. Or was that Mum? Sorry I totally missed that??
If you proceed a little further up, you will see a main Gate that when you go through leads to a bunch of other Tracks.
The Tracks are marked as Beginner (Green), Intermediate (Blue), and Advanced (Black).
The Place is quite well laid out and Promises to Thrill even the most Light Hearted Rider as Tracks are nicely laid out and even manage to somewhat intertwine together.
There are a few things to look out for while being there, however, including Jumps, Ruts, Fake Paths, Swooping Magpie’s (Yes One Swooped at me while I was there) and No Entry signs as pretty well all Tracks are Directional meaning they are only One Way!
Otherwise, the Park was a Fantastic one, to say the least, and well worth a Big Day Out.
So if your Brave enough to trek through the Wild Ride, this may just be something for you!!!
