The Self Sealing Solution to a Flat One.
When your out for a Ride and you hear a hiiiiissssss!
We have all been there. You head out for a Ride enjoying the Sunny Blue Sky, the Crisp Fresh Air, the Nature of the Scenery and then it hits ever so silently with its slight hissing sound!
And No, this is not a Rattle Snake you happen to come across, but rather your Inner Tube telling you to Call it Quits and Go Home!! :(
And although this has been the case many times (back in the past), something about this latest experience was different. The Story is shared just below….
Heading out for a Ride in the Bushlands one day, I rumbling through the Bushy Green Leaves, the Windey Rocky Paths and the Ruggardy Bumpy Terrain making my decent to the Jump Track awaiting below….
“AWESOME!” I thought as I saw the Jump Park in the Distance pedaling my way towards it.
On Arrival, I did my usual Warm Up (taking the jumps really easy) before getting right into it…..
Taking a slight break from the Jump Park, I relaxed and leaned on one of the Near By Trees looking at the Bike. On doing so, I also noticed a bit of Green Goo on the Seat and Frame. Not really knowing what it was, I just wiped it off with my Gloves and continued doing Jumps.
Returning back to the Starting Position, I noticed “yet again” the Green Goo. This time I was totally Puzzled wondering “where is this actually coming from?”
On further examination of the Bike, I noticed that the Back Tyre had a wet Patch and taking a closer look, I saw a Puncture.
But here is where things get really Interesting…..
By this stage, any other Tyre would be Considerably Flat, but this one wasn’t! And actually, I was still able to Ride the Bike with no real issues at all!
So I did something that was quite Interesting and Highly Not Recommended.
I Continued on the Jumps getting Higher Airs then before, but would check in on the Back Tyre to see how it was going.
Apart from leaching out little bits of Green Goo here and there, everything else worked so well that I ended up leaving the Jump Park ‘not only because of the puncture’, but also in anticipation to write a testimony about this Actual Product.
